Corrosion Inhibitors
Petriz corrosion inhibitors are available in drilling-grade (PZT-COR-O) and production-grade (PZT-COR-OG) formulations. Both are film-forming inhibitors that adsorb onto metal surfaces to create a protective barrier against corrosive attack from CO₂, H₂S, dissolved oxygen, and chlorides. Stable up to 90°C (194°F). Tolerant up to 250,000 ppm TDS. Suitable for continuous (50–200 ppm) and batch injection programs in wellbores, flowlines, and surface facilities.

Pros

Cons & Limitations
- Requires ongoing corrosion-rate monitoring (coupons, ER probes) to confirm the protective film is actually being maintained
- Can be incompatible with certain demulsifier or scale-inhibitor chemistries if not co-formulated carefully
- Effectiveness drops sharply if the film is mechanically stripped by high flow velocity, turbulence, or solids erosion
