Drilling Detergent
PZT-DD-1 drilling detergent is a surfactant blend formulated for use in water-based drilling mud. It reduces the interfacial/surface tension of the drilling fluid, improving wetting of cuttings and bit surfaces and helping dislodge sticky, reactive clay from the bit face and bottom-hole assembly. Improves rate of penetration indirectly by keeping the bit clean, and improves solids-control screen efficiency by reducing cuttings' tendency to mat together at the shale shakers.
